CAMPUS LIFE
This week at the main campus and the Institute of Public Safety we celebrated our student and staff veterans with a short ceremony and cake in recognition of Veterans Day. Thank you all for your service!
The students have also been working on their door decorating competition at the main campus, a toy drive at the Institute of Public Safety campus, and the creation of Christmas ornaments at all campuses to represent their career program at the Festival of Trees. It’s been busy but the students are having fun as they build their teamwork skills!
STUDENT SUCCESS
Self-Knowledge is Power! The more we know about ourselves, the better we are able to negotiate the complex relationships we have with family members, colleagues, and clients or patients. It’s important to give students the opportunity to examine their personality styles and consider their strengths and limitations in communicating with and understanding others. Dr. Lindamood, LTC’s Student Success Counselor provides a brief workshop that helps students develop greater self-knowledge and have some fun in the process.
