- Lake Technical College sponsored the “Counselor Conference” breakfast at Lake-Sumter State College on Wednesday, February 5th. This conference is not only educational, but celebrates counselor appreciation week and the hard work that school counselors do every day for our Lake County students.
- Lake Tech was represented at the school district’s “Follow Your Heart” event held at the Lake Square Mall on February 8. All of the high school CTE programs were on display and Lake Tech had a table to showcase dual enrollment and articulation.
- On Thursday, February 6th, Lake Tech welcomed 45 8th graders from Spring Creek Charter on campus to tour some of our programs. The students particularly enjoyed the machines in our CNC Production Specialist program and the high fidelity mannequins in our Health Science Simulation Lab and in the EMS building.
- Lake Tech will be participating in Umatilla High School’s CTE Expo on February 20 for upcoming 8th graders.
- Lake Tech will be represented at the South Lake Chamber Education event on Saturday, February 22.
- Lake Tech will be recruiting at Eustis High School on February 24 and Mt. Dora High School on February 25 and 27.
- On February 29, Lake Tech will participate in the “THRIVE: LEAP into College” event.
