The new Intro to Construction students are working on their OSHA-10 certification and have already learned construction math, reading a tape measure, and the use of small hand and power tools. They have built shelves for their PPE and will be building planter box stands. On two Saturdays, they will be working with the City of Leesburg to perform maintenance on apartments in the area.
