The Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician – Combined Class #134 has achieved a monumental milestone with a flawless 100% passing rate on the rigorous state fire practical exam. This accomplishment marks a significant achievement for the program, which spans 792 intensive hours of training. Among these, 300 hours are dedicated to Emergency Medical Technician content, while 492 hours are focused on firefighter training, preparing students comprehensively over a demanding five-month period.
“This outstanding achievement underscores the dedication and expertise of our faculty, who bring extensive real-world experience into the classroom,” said LTC Executive Director DeAnna Thomas. “Many of our faculty members continue to serve actively in the field, ensuring students receive cutting-edge training that prepares them for any challenge. Led by the stringent guidelines of Rule 69A-37.055 of the Florida Administrative Code, the program is designed to forge resilient and highly skilled firefighters. It demands unwavering dedication and commitment from its participants, affirming that only the most determined and capable individuals succeed.
