Lake Technical College is pleased to announce that ALL students in the Firefighter/Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) – Combined program passed both the practical and written exams for their fire test! The written exam includes firefighting rescue, life saving techniques, hazard materials, and wildland firefighting. The practical exam includes attacking fire, making rescues, use of tools, and team building. Executive Director, Dr. Diane Culpepper states “This is great news! Very proud of our EMT/Firefighting instructors who have led our students to success!”
For those interested in pursuing a career as a Fire Fighter, Lake Technical College offers a full Fire Fighter/EMT – Combined program. The next session starts in September 2018.
