Lake Technical Center is proud to announce that Dr. Diane Culpepper, Director, has been elected to serve as a member of the Council on Occupational Education Commission (COE). Her term began in November 2012 and concludes in November 2015. As a commissioner, Dr. Culpepper serves institutions in the United States and internationally by fostering excellence in the field of career and technical education. Her role will be to make recommendations to COE regarding standards and conditions and for establishing and implementing policies and rules for the enforcement of the accreditation standards. COE has been in existence since 1971 and is recognized by the U.S. Department of Education as a national institutional accrediting agency. Dr. Culpepper has been the director of Lake Technical Center since 2010.
