Lake Technical College in partnership with Lake County Government is excited to offer the Pathway to Prosperity program for students interested in pursuing a career in the following programs:
- Correctional Officer (BRTP)
- Crossover from Correctional Officer to Law Enforcement Officer
- Firefighter/EMT Combined
- Heating, Ventilation, Air-Conditioning/Refrigeration (HVAC/R) 1
- Patient Care Technician
- Pharmacy Technician
- Practical Nursing
- Professional Culinary Arts & Hospitality
- Public Safety Telecommunication (911 Dispatch)
The Pathway to Prosperity Scholarship is open to Lake County residents and who are not receiving financial sponsorship from any outside organization. The scholarship covers the cost of tuition, fees, and books/instructional resources in eligible programs. Students also receive individualized support from the program coordinator and assistance with employability skills and job placement. There is no better time to get started in a new career!

The Pathway to Prosperity program will swiftly meet the needs of potential employees and local employers by training students, and connecting them with business partners to secure employment.
