Lake Tech is proud to announce Diana Marquez as coordinator who will oversee the Corporate and Community Training division. Diana brings over 30 years of experience in education, development, and management. She is innovative and skilled at bringing business together to understand needs and develop programmatic responses to meet workforce education demands. She will be directly responsible for establishing professional partnerships between the college and local business/industry in order to create, implement, and scale programs and services that create impact on the business community and local economic growth.
Lake Technical College Executive Director DeAnna Thomas shared, “Diana is immersed in workforce dynamics and economic trends. She will be a tremendous asset to the college’s robust network of business partners and has already begun collaboration on new projects. She will continue to work closely with Lake County’s economic development leaders and provide vital support.”
Lake Tech’s Corporate and Community Training division provides customized training and educational resources through short, job-specific training for employees, job seekers, and the community. Training includes customized programs, continuing education in areas of professional and personal interest, and eLearning.
