It was the fire fighters vs. the law enforcement recruits! Congratulations Lake Tech Fire Academy students Gerald Hood, Mason Foreman, Chad Gattis, and Tyler Karcher who beat Law Enforcement recruits Kyle Blake, Mark Day, Travis McGee, and Cory Sommer. The semi-annual Physical Training (PT) Challenge was held October 24th at the Lake Technical Center Institute of Public Safety, Tavares.
The teams were cheered on by a large group of fans which included Sheriff Gary Borders, Lake County Sheriff’s Office; Captain Wayne Longo, Lake County Sheriff’s Office; Dr. Diane Culpepper, Lake Technical Center Director; Mrs. Melissa Stephan, Lake Technical Center Assistant Director; as well as many Sheriff’s Office representatives; and Lake Technical Center faculty and staff.
