4. Can I fail the CASAS?
Absolutely not! All the CASAS does is measure what you know when you take the test. The test is not pass/fail. Instead, the test helps us customize your learning experience. We are committed to helping you learn, or re-learn, the skills you need to be successful for the GED or your Career and Technical Education Program.

If you are over 18, go here. If you are under 18, go here.
6. What is on the GED® test?
Reasoning through Language Arts, Mathematical Reasoning, Science, and Social Studies.
7. What makes a successful student in the GED® program?
Be prepared. Be positive. Be on time. Be willing to develop a relationship with your instructor. They care!
8. How long should the program last?
That’s a hard question. It depends on (1) where your skills are right now, and (2) how much time and effort you put into it. This is different for every person. So, there is no way to say how long your program will last. Nonetheless, you should work with your instructor to set personal goals and do everything you can to meet these goals.
9. Are online classes harder or easier than taking classes in person?
Online classes can be easier and harder than taking a class in person. It takes a lot of personal discipline to work from home. There are personal distractions, noises and maybe kids; not to mention that there is no one to remind you to stay on task. However, with online class you don’t have to drive, get ready, or work on a given schedule. Midnight works for you? Fine, go for it! The most important thing is for you to know yourself. If you think it won’t be best for you to work online, don’t do it.
10. Is there financial aid for Adult Education students?
Financial aid for tuition and testing purposes may be available to those who qualify.
