  • Lake Technical College participated in the GeorgeFest parade on February 22. Many students, staff, and faculty braved the cool weather to ride on the float or in the fire engine. Lana Payne and her husband Rick were Martha and George!

  • Melissa Stephan and Laurie Bryant attended the Women in Manufacturing event held at Merit Fasteners and sponsored by the Manufacturing Association of Central Florida. Lake Tech students who attended included Sissy Gomez, Anna Gazdecki, and Brittany Peterson.

  • LEAP into College Conference ~ Kim Frazier represented Lake Tech at the Thrive “Leap into College” event that was held at Lake Sumter State College this past Saturday. Ms. Frazier was the luncheon speaker. In addition, Diesel Technology student Joe Rains, was part of the student panel.

  • East Ridge High School students will tour Lake Tech on March 5, from 9:30 until 11 am.

 

  • Lake Tech will be represented at the Adventure Christian College Night on March 12 at 5:30 pm.

 

  • Lake Tech will be recruiting at Lake Minneola High School on March 26 at 11 am.

 

  • On Thursday, March 26, Lake Tech will be represented at Oak Park Middle School’s College night.

 

  • Adventure Christian students will be touring Lake Tech on March 26 from 9:30 until 11 am.

 

  • Lake Tech will be participating in a Lunch & Learn at South Lake High School on March 27.
