Lake Technical College is now in Open Registration for the spring 2020 semester. Registration will remain open through January 6th, or until the program is full. For over 50 years, Lake Tech has provided career and technical training to thousands of students in Lake County and our surrounding region. Lake Technical College locations include the main campus at 2001 Kurt Street in Eustis, the Institute of Public Safety campus in Tavares, and in Clermont on the campus of Lake Sumter State College.
Lake Technical College is a public, post-secondary institution whose mission is to be an integral component of the economic growth and development in our community by offering over 30 high quality career-training programs. Our faculty are experts in their industries and they thrive on launching their students into successful careers. Our programs are fast and affordable! Most programs are completed in approximately one year, thus the slogan, “Career in a Year.” Tuition is based on $2.88 per hour and financial aid is available to those who qualify. Furthermore, Lake Tech offers GED® Preparation and ESOL classes on the main campus, in the public libraries, Goodwill locations, and other community buildings throughout Lake County.
Prospective students should apply online at www.laketech.org and then can come register for classes at the main campus in Eustis. Lake Tech will be holding an evening program information session on Monday, December 9th at 5:30pm at the main campus and a day program information session on December 10th at 3:30pm at the main campus for all who would like more information. Lake Technical College offices will close for the holidays on Friday, December 20th and open again on Thursday, January 2nd.
