On Tuesday, June 13th, approximately 800 Lake Technical College students will graduate from Career and Technical Education (CTE) programs and approximately 40 students will receive their State of Florida High School Diploma from the Adult Education’s GED program. The Florida High School graduation will be at 10am and the CTE program’s graduation will begin at 2pm at Lake Sumter State College in Leesburg, Florida.
At the start of the ceremony, the Umatilla High School JROTC Color Guard will present the Colors. Charles Broadway, Police Chief of Clermont, will deliver the keynote speech. In addition, the Student of the Year will be revealed for both the CTE and the Adult Education programs. The Business and Community Partner of the Year will also be announced.
