Equivalency of Training (EOT) Information
If you are already a certified law enforcement or corrections officer in another state, the military or a federal agency, Equivalency of Training (EOT) is an accelerated process leading to Florida Certification. It allows qualified persons to become Florida certified without having to first attend a full law enforcement or corrections academy in Florida.
There are two forms that must be included with any EOT application submitted to the Lake County Criminal Justice Selection Center. These forms are:
